Éprouvant le concept de ville idéale, le disque intitulé Colombia pourrait être la bande originale fictionnelle d'un quartier où l'on retrouve cette utopie architecturale et urbaine des années 60.
Le projet solo de Vincent Malassis se réapproprie le nom du quartier Colombier à Rennes pour en faire un nouveau pseudonyme. Le producteur de musique électronique dresse un univers rétro futuriste avec un style proche du début de la techno.

Exploring the concept of utopian cities, the 12’ titled Colombia could easily be the soundtrack to a district built on the 60’s utopian architecture and urbanism. Vincent Malassis solo’s project aka Colombier refers to a neighbourhood in Rennes, France. The electronic music producer draws a retro futuristic world flirting with the birth style of techno music.
